Mac Or Pc?
Mac Or Pc? You are in the Right Place! Trust Your Computer Services To The Pros!
I love my MAC and I love my PC, but both are different designs with different intentions in mind. Professional recording of music at The Grove music studios, we use Macs. Video editing with all my TV friends again, will definitely be with a Mac. Desktop Publishing, Graphics Design, fun machine for the kids or family and just lifestyle type/music, movies and photos all day long, Mac, Mac, Mac
Now, we also run a business and have a requirement for Microsoft Office, business applications and various complex Operating Systems and Internet Software. We use an accounting system, that wont run on a Mac and for rock solid reliability in a business-sense, I prefer to build a Server or Desktop.
Why? Well for starts, I can access my Hdd and replace it in about 18-60 seconds, try that with your iMac or MacBook Pro, not going to happen. Reliability and Serviceability are paramount to our business model and I need to be able to get into the guts of my system (or yours) and fix it in 20-40 minutes if you need uptime.
So for teenagers, business people or mission critical applications, I build a big PC or server, because I know that any component in there can be replaced within an hour and that is the sort of uptime my people expect.
Now a Mac is legendarily reliable, however, in the event of a failure, most current designs are sealed units and therefore not able to be quickly services by ourselves and therefore we lose control again, which in business is not always the best way.
Look, both sides have their Evangelists and raving fans and enemies too, but you need to think through what is best for you.
